Harry Maguire Scraped Man United Captaincy.
Harry Maguire the England international is one of the most expensive English player and the most expensive defensive player in the world this after a record transfer deal from Leicester city to Manchester united which costed up to £80 Milion.
After a record transfer deal to old Trafford in 2019 the then Manchester united head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appointment him as the club’s captain, taking over from Antonio Valencia.
“I will always be grateful to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for first giving me the responsibility and I wish whoever now takes it on every success and they will have my full support.”… ~ He said.
However last season it was tough period for Harry Maguire who rarely made appearances in first eleven team. He however received several criticism from club supporters.
With the new season around the corner Manchester united management has decided to scrape the Captaincy from Harry Maguire.
“After discussions with the manager today he has informed me he is changing captain. He outlined his reasons to me and whilst I’m personally extremely disappointed, I will continue to give my all every time I wear the shirt… “ ~He wrote.
In a statement to the supporters and the club’s management Harry thanked everyone for the support stating that he however not happy with the move.
“So I wanted to say a massive thank you to the Manchester United fans for all their brilliant support whilst I’ve been wearing the armband.”

It’s expected that Bruno Fernandes will take over as the news Manchester united’s Captain starting next season.
