CAF Inspectors Complete Three Days Mission In Zambia Over 2025 AFCON Host Bid.
CAF INSPECTORS CONCLUDE ZAMBIA MISSION
The four-member team of inspectors sent by CAF to Zambia have concluded their three day assignment of checking of sites as part of the 2025 AFCON bid.
During the inspection, the quartet who were accompanied by government and FAZ officials inspected stadia in Lusaka and the Copperbelt.
Additionally, the inspectors kept tabs on other support infrastructure like hospitals, transport, hospitality and communication.

As per their work plan, they were only in the country to inspect selected venues and not every single facility in the bid book.
Zambia is among four bidders for the 2025 AFCON that was initially set to be hosted by Guinea.
The other three members bidding for the 2025 AFCON are Algeria, Morocco and Nigeria/Benin.
