Today afternoon Azimio team has called off indefinitely the bipartisan talks.
Azimio la Umoja coalition team has today afternoon announced that the joint bipartisan talks with their Kenya Kwanza side has been called off indefinitely.
This has come after their Kenya Kwanza counterparts led by co chair George Murugara failed answer their demands which were supposed to lapse by Tuesday midnight.
In a press briefing yesterday evening which was led by Azimio leaders led by Raila Odinga his former Running mate Martha Karua, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka among others had raised a number of demands.
Key in their demands was to address the issue of high cost of living, opening of the last general elections IEBC servers and the Kenya Kwanza to suspend the recruitment of new IEBC commissioners.
However Kenya Kwanza side through the bipartisan co chair George Murugara issued a statement to their Azimio counterparts expressing their willingness to address the matter.
However Kenya Kwanza side failed to do so as agreed by Tuesday midnight hence azimio’s move to call off the talks.
Today afternoon Azimio la Umoja team led by Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo served the public with a letter stating that the talk have called off indefinitely.

However a section of them are opposing the move by Azimio saying that they had set too much demands which could not have been met within a short time.
