WorldCoin Scanning Gadgets Confiscated by Kenyan government.

  • WorldCoin has faced another setback in Kenya this is after it’s gadgets were confiscated by the government.

The interior cabinet secretary Prof. Kithure Kindiki while appearing before the Senate Ad Hoc committee revealed that the government has confiscated the gadgets used by WorldCoin to collect Kenyans data.

According to Kindiki 48 orbs, electronic gadgets and WorldCoin operation assorted merchandise were recovered from two agents.

Kindiki further stated before the committee that over 26 witnesses and other people have so far recorded statement with the investigating agency.

This comes days after the software company is facing criticism following claims by some Kenyans who’s eyeballs were scanned experiencing sight challenges.

There are also allegations that the company was operating in the country ilegally
