Mike Sonko’s Facebook page Pulled Down Over LGBTQ Remakes.

The former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has lost his Facebook page with over 2,500,000 followers today morning .

The politician’s page was pulled down by Facebook authority after being reported by LGBTQ community. It’s believed that Mike Sonko made remarks contrary to the LGBTQ community, this is after the supreme court allowed the registration and freedom for the community in Kenya last month.

Hawa mashoga wa LGBTQ wako na nguvu wamecomplain to FB mpaka my page of 2,500,000 followers ikakua disabled till I apologize to them then appeal to FB. I can’t & will not apologize to them.” Sonko wrote on his Twitter.

The issue of LGBTQ sparked reactions in the country as several political leaders including President William Ruto and opposition leader Hon. Raila Odinga condemning the move by the majority of the seven bench judges at the Supreme court.

However in his remarks Sonko has vowed to ask for an apology from from the LGBTQ community over the remakes he made.

Several Kenyans on social media have stood in solidarity with Mike Sonko and they are condemning Facebook for the actions, they are now calling on Mike Sonko’s page to be reinstated with immediate effect.
