Londiani Accident: Several People Feared Dead, Others Hospitalized.
- LONDIANI ACCIDENT: Over 55 people feared dead as several others are hospitalized.
- The tragic accident occurred at around 6:30 pm when a truck lost control at Londiani Junction.
According to reports, over 55 people are feared dead as several others are currently in various hospitals across Kericho county this is after a tragic accident which happened at Londiani junction
According to eye witnesses the accident occurred at around 6:30 Pm today Friday 30th June.
A truck which lost control ran over pedestrians, business people who were around the road side and Matatus which had parked along the road.
According to one of the eyewitness it’s that the driver of the truck was trying to avoid hitting a bus which developed mechanical hitch and was parked bon the road.
Several matatus have been damaged beyond recognition.
Londiani OCPD Agnes Kunga stated that the rescue operation is still ongoing as several bodies have been trapped inside vehicles.
Official data will be released later as the rescue operation is underway, however due to the heavy rainfall being experienced the process going on slowly.
