
Kilifi County has recently witnessed a significant breakthrough in the ongoing efforts to combat drug-related activities, as officers from the DCI Kilifi County successfully apprehended three suspects believed to be involved in the possession of suspected narcotic drugs and psychotropic substance

The incident took place along Watamu Jacaranda Road, resulting in the arrest the cureent Azimio La Umoja Blogger Pauline Njoki Njoroge, Jane Mwangi Nduta, and Emanze Jilani.During a routine trace for Pauline Njoroge, the officers intercepted a silver Toyota Hiace with registration number KCV 116T.
Upon conducting a thorough search of the vehicle, they discovered four rolls of dry plant material, suspected to be narcotic drugs. This led to the immediate arrest of all three occupants of the vehicle owned by Ms. Njoroge , Jane Mwangi Nduta, and the driver, Emanze Jilani.
Subsequent investigations led the officers to their residences at Mawe Zuri Resort, where further evidence of drug possession was found. In house number Tatu, occupied by Jane Mwangi, a clear container containing ten tablets of suspected narcotic substances was recovered.

Likewise, in house number Nne, occupied by Pauline Njoki Njoroge, a clear container with fifty tablets of suspected narcotic substances was seized.All three suspects were promptly booked and placed in custody, awaiting formal charges for their involvement in the possession of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
The motor vehicle with registration number KCV 116T was also detained as part of the ongoing investigation.The successful operation highlights the diligent efforts of the law enforcement authorities in Kilifi County in their commitment to combating drug-related crimes.
